“Two eyes, a nose and a mouth. Never the same - always a challenge.” - GG

Born in Fulham, London, Gail Graham was largely brought up in the United States where she pursued a career in the LA advertising industry as an art director. She later returned to London and worked as art director for the European Newspaper’s magazine supplement while painting in her own time.

After being commissioned to paint HM The Queen for the Cunard flagship, Queen Mary 2, Gail decided to become a full time artist. Alongside her many private commissions she has raised almost £500,000 for charities.

Gail works at her studio in Chelsea and is a member of Chelsea Arts Club.

She served six years on the Royal Academy School’s fund raising committee which helps ensure a new generation of students have the support and space to explore their talents. She was a founder member of the Groucho Club Choir and is married to journalist Charles Garside.
